Im getting ready to buy a 70 z28 with a 350 4 sp. Im not sure if #'s are matching or not and dont really know about the miliage. Anyone got any ideas of what its worth?

I've seen the early '70's Z28 prices going up the past few years. The late 60's are through the roof! If its got good documentation and it looks original then it should be a good buy.
I've visted this site for good info on the early Camaros.

Well if its an LT1 car than your going to spend a sh1t load. Those LT1 were bad to the bone, had the same motor as the 1970 vette. Solid lifter cam , 4 bolt mains, big Holley. but there not considered a 1970 model year car but a 1970 1/2 model1967 VW Bug 2.3L Ford SVO Inline 4 w/ Turbo, Sand-Drag VW Trans Axle, Race this Import.

Does the Z28 also have the RS Split Bumper option, which Muncie 4-speed is in the car? Hope it doesn't have factory 4.10's like my 71 Z28, makes long highway driving unpleasant
Lastly, the Cowl Tag should have Z28 stamped right in the middle of the Tag...that might only be true if it was built in Norwood, OH. Also, see if it still has the Original 11/16 rear sway bar, only Z28's came with the bar and the mounting achors are welded to the floor above the 12 Bolt Rear end from the factory. If the mounts are not their then it's a copy. Good luck

IT does have the z28 stamped in the middle of the plate. Im not sure what muncie it has. Is 18 to much?

Hard to say. How many miles, what kind of bodywork/paint has been done, what does the interior look like, any rust on the underside of the car, how about the trunk? Is the motor/tranny,rear end Original? What kind of shape is the Paint in? Original Paperwork, Build Sheet, Protect O Plate, or Dealer Invoice available? Sure it can easily be worth $18k, but it could also be worth more or less based on it's history and condition.Comment
