New part purchased...How to pay?

I just bought an accel High-flow Intake on ebay. The person cant take Paypal due to the restriction of seller price on the basic account. WHat is the most secure way to go about this transaction?

To my knowledge there are no "restrictions" as to how much you can send through Paypal. Sounds like this guy is trying to pull a fast one. I've sent 5 bucks before with Paypal.

Ask him if he will do a COD?

You had me really worried there for a bit so I did a search of the pay pal site and this is what I found.

What is the maximum amount I can receive with PayPal?

There is no limit to the amount of money you may receive with PayPal's Business or Premier accounts. However, if you have a Personal account, you cannot receive payments funded with a credit card. You also cannot receive more than $500.00 USD worth of payments per month for eBay Items, Auction items (Non-eBay), and Goods-Other (Website payments only) payment types.

So I guess he was telling the truth about not being able to recive more than $500 US a month. So what is my next best option?

Looks like Western Union or a money order is gonna be your best bets, unless he's willing to split the payments. Could always ask him about that.

C.O.D. would be the smart way to go. Maybe you could do the funds transfer through paypal, but just make it a non-ebay purchase.

This must be a new thing. I sold a tranny on ebay less than a year ago for 1400 and I received the money through paypal.

I think that was the reason i upgraded to a Buisness acount. Wanted to sell my Extra TPI intake but couldnt recive all the money on a personnal account.

Why doesn't he just upgrade his account to a Premiere account? isn't it still free?

Its free for buyers but you have to pay a service fee with selling.
