could i swap in dual fans into a single fan car? has any1 done this type of modification be4? driving my car around today and it went above 190 to bout 230(have a digital dash so i have to guess). my car is a 305 tbi motor, has a 180* tstat in there. it already has the low temp fan switch in there. im just wonder what i would have to do to swap it in. thanks guys

i was gonna wire it so both would come on no matter what. i just dont like seening my car near the top 1/4 of my temp gauge, esp since i got the 180* in there.2009 Honda Civic EX- the daily beater

You said the temp was going that high while driving? You might want to make sure your air dam is still underneath the radiator.

it is, i had the a/c on and it was like 85* and very humid today in ct. it was mostly becuz i was sittin in traffic but once i got movie it didnt come down, in fact, i went to was my car bout an hour ago and it had been sittin for 5 hrs and the temp gauge still read 120*, so im hopin it was cuz of the heat today and it sittin. i just need something to get more air in there. i was gonna get a cowl hood, but this car is too clean to modify and it already has a rebuilt motor(now i kno y the old one was rebuilt)
