  • TV Antenna Rotor Wiring Help

Antenna rotor has terminals 1, 2, 3, & 4. I have wires white, black, red, & green. Dont know how this should be wired up so the antenna on my roof will move? I have tried many combinations, but I can't get the antenna to move it just lights up when I turn the rotor knob it because I don't have the right combination yet. Anyone know what it is who has a roof antenna rotor?

NON CAR RELATED. Roof antenna on house. People with antenna rotor please help me. Look at the back of your rotor, and see how its wired.

Well, there's only 24 (4x3x2x1) possible combinations, so keep trying! Isn't there a TV antenna forum or something where this guy can get some help? Jeez.

Doesn't the control box have numbers on it where the wires are hooked up? (some of them have a cover over the terminals) Just match 'em up with the numbers on the rotator.

Only place I've seen rotators recently is on Ham Radio antennas. Didn't know anybody still used a TV antenna!

edit: in the future it would help f you put "NFB:" in the title of your "Non F-Body" post.

I have cable, and I'm switching to a satellite dish. I need the antenna to get the local major networks since it doesn't come with the dish in this area at this time.
