  • new optima battery fixed my starter problem ???

well my starter sounded like it was going to take a dump on me. for the past month and a half my car sometimes would not start on the first crank. it would just make a click noise. anyway the other day i felt like driving the Z28 and went to take it out of the garage and my battery is dead !!! i take it off and get it checked at auto zone since i had purchased it there about 4 years ago. it was a free replacement battery for three years my luck. anyway the guy told me it was dead. he told me i had a $30r credit for my dead battery, sweet. so i got a red optima battery they had it on sale for $99
minus my $30 credit and i paid $64 out the door. after installing the battery i've had NO starting problems at all. could it had always been a bad battery not my stater giving me problems..

yup, its usually the battery or the stater its always easier to take the battery 2 get tested b4 going thru too much trouble and messing with the stater, glad everything worked out.
