    You Batman fans will be pleased to know that the new Batmobile is LS1 powered. Looks are decieving too! It actually performs quite well!

    Engine: 5.7-liter Chevy V-8 (jet engine simulated by hot-air balloon burner)

    Its hard to believe that a 2 ton thing can do 0-60 in 5 sec. with only 340 HP.

      Its all how you gear it. Probably only does 60MPH max

        ya but 2 tons at 60 mph is a force to be reckoned with. in my entire life i have never seen anything like this car. my first impression was that it was a cross between a lamborghini and a hummer lol.

          sorry for the double post but it looks like the impression i had like 2 months ago was right on the money.

            They did an article in "The Sun" ... here in Toronto, and it had the horsepower @ 500hp.

            Quite a big difference between the 340 and 500...

                Well, I assumed it was LS1 powered since they said 340HP, but I suppose it could just be a modified Gen 1 smallblock. I thought 340 horses was a bit low too, but who knows...

                BTW, cool link. I saw a couple Batmobile designes that might have been inspired be a 70's Camaro and 98+ T/A WS6! Cool....
