I know everyone on here loves Zaino. I too do, and that is my primary wax. My neighbor, however, believes in this stuff.. He used it on his Black 01 Grand Prix GTP, and wow, what a wet deep shine. I can't see spending $70 on this stuff alone though. What do you all think of this? Has anyone used it?

    "Pinnacle Souveran Paste Carnauba Wax"

whats the key word here? carnuba

carnuba is water soluable. When you wash the car, it dulls it....if the car gets wet, it dulls it... Pinnacle also has solvents in it that can micro scratch your clear coat...and of course, it removes the layer of wax thats there when you apply a new coat...

wax does not have the slick hard finish that a poly polish has, like zaino... therefore, its a dust magnent..and dust wont blow off...

its also only 80% optically perfect..where as a poly, like zaino, is 99% optically perfect..so your brilliance of true color is not "expressed" thru the layer as much....

i tried some wax from Porche many years ago, my friend gave me a sample.. the "tin" (size of a turtle wax can) cost $115.00 i still remember that... you know what? zaino beats it hands down....... LOL
