  • Short Throw?

I am considering buying a short throw shifter. The question is...are they really worth it? How much of an improvement is it? The second to third shift really kills me sometimes.

They definitely help, but I still managed to screw up the 2->3 shift from time to time...... That's why I swapped in the TH400. First shifter I put on the T56 was the Hurst Comp+ with a Lou Salzano "short stick".... much better than stock, got rid of the "rubbery" feel. Eventually went to the Pro5.0.... built like a battleship. Too bad you couldn't see it, because it was a work of art. Definitely the best for the 2->3 shift, but I would occasionally screw up.

Yeah I was considering the Hurst shifter. Don't know if that's a good choice or not.
