Cleaning Headers

My Jet Hot coating applied to SS SLP headers has lasted well, but turned from shiny silver to shiny grey the first year and has stayed that way for the last 5 years.

Mine are the same way. The original coating lost it's shiny appearance, but not it's integrity. They don't look bad, certainly a heck of alot better than non coated would have looked.

I have AS&M single cat headers for now 8 months and it is rusting so bad, i can't stand it. Called AS&M and they said they can recoat them. But first its summer i am driving it and second i have to take them out and thats alittle involved. so i wish they could send new ones or something
