my GF has a celica and somehow, gum is stick and smudged on her seat belt. Not so good...it gets stuck in the tensioner and doesn't retract all the way. What's the best way to get gum out? Let a brudda know!

if that does not do it.. freeze it with ice then scrape it off.
peanut butter should work though...ive used it plenty of times.

Rub it with an ice cube until it gets good and solid. It should scrape off with a finger nail at that point. I got gum out of the cloth upholstery on my Silverado using that method.Fred

It's pretty cool....we used to take the cans of compressed air for cleaning electronics turn them upside down and spray the liquid into a plastic bag. The liquid has such a low boiling point, that just touching the outside of the bag will make the liquid instantly boil.Originally posted by TraceZ
