  • Cat Delete?

I had a 80 series Flowmaster and cat(OEM) piped up 4 months back. I told the guy I didnt need a cat but did he listen? Did he just save it? NO! So now that its back from paint and home again, knowing that cat is on there is bugging me. Is it hindering my 305 TBI or not really doing any damage? If you were me what would you do? Gut it or keep it?

I cant say for sure but chances are that it is does restrict the exhaust somewhat becuase it is one extra body for the gasses to flow through, someone else may be able to tell you more, but I would imagine removing it would help the flow.
