Maybe, maybe not. IP spoofing is nothing new. Due to the increasing number of internet spam laws, tricks they are using now are spoofed IPs and remote access programs. You can literally access other computers from your PC, using them to transmit and receive. However, all that leaves an electronic "footprint" should someone decide to hunt them down it merely takes a few more tools.

My work and home usernames wont work now. I had to reregister here at work. It is an E-mail thing? I'd rather use a hot mail account so I don't get too much spam. Thanks.

what some might do is hack and spam from the internet cafes. but thats doubtful.
