That's a consideration. I have my 16'' stockers, too. I was thinking about a set of nittos or BFG drag radials to mount on them.

Does anyone make a 17'' Street/ Drag radial or am I better off to just put them on the stockers?

Jerry, first of all, congrats on those times! I have about the same miles that you do on my car, but with more mods, and I haven't quite done nearly as well as you have. My best time has been a 13.98, and thats with DR's! Corrected, thats about a 13.8 or so (1000+ ft. altitude). So when you ran that 13.6 were you spraying? You mentioned having had the nitrous installed but you didnt say wether you used it or not. Im currently bleeding on the keyboard as I type. My Random Tech Y Pipe install is underway, so I will be going back to the track soon to try it out. With regards to tires, both BF Goodrich and Nitto make DR's for 17" wheels. I have the Nittos on my AFS ZR1 Wheels, and they work great.

I have not sprayed. Those runs listed are all motor. I have the nitrous installed but I have yet to get the MSD6AL put in (soft touch limiter) or the fuel pressure safety switch calibarated. Once I do those (this week) I'll be ready. I'm spraying a 100 shot so I expect much better times when that happens!

The conditions on Friday were as perfect as I could hope for so I don't think I've got a better time in me until more mods are done, but I am very happy with a 13.68.....I did not expect the temp to make that much of a difference, although the humidity was way down as well from when I made my previous best of 13.79

One thing I think really helped me that we sometimes overlook was the CPU flash that was done for me by MADZ28. When in perform mode, the car slams me into the seat on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts plus the shift points were changed and seem to have greatly affected the feel of the car.

I think I am going to do headers, Y pipe, and a set of Nittos as the next phase of my modifying. Thanks for the advice.

BTW I ran a 14.22 this year with the same mods before going to Norwalk. Sometimes the track is key. It sure was for me. Of course I have learned to launch the car better too as I have not hooked worse than 2.0** in about 6 runs.
