hey, i was driving the bird down the street and it has been fine since yesterdat when i got the new trans put in. until now, i was driving and i could barely push the petal down, maybe like half way. so i got out and couldnt see anything under the pedal or anyhting ovously wrong. so i drove home and got it in the garage. when i was in the i gave it a nice kick and the petal pop and went all the way to the floor. and i let go and it kept reving so i shut the car off before it redlined. now i have no pedal pressure at all. i can move it back and forth by hand and it is sitting in floored postion all the time. when i move it my throttle cable still moves. what else could it be.

Cable under the hood... Could have popped off, maybe a spring snapped? Unlikely but I had problems like that with my other car. It was the return spring on the TB. Was catching on something. Pedal felt all wrong, and would be hard, would get stuck, etc... Check that area under the hood.97 Chevy 'Raro Z28 M6- Ported & Polished LT1 heads,beehives,1.6/1.94 valves, 226/231 custom cam,K&N FIPK, 94-95 BBK shorty's,ORY,Magnaflow Catback,no cats,BMR LCA Relocation Brackets,Lower Control Arms,Adjustable Panhard Bar,Eibach Pro Kit,SPEC Stage 1,Walbro 255 Fuel Pump,30LB Injectors,Pro 5.0,Short stick,MSD 8.5's,NGK TR55's,LT4KM
