  • NFB. Torque arm mount

So I've tried every parts store in town and no one has even heard of a torque arm mount (" It's not in my computer"). Is there another name for it that the geniuses at autozone would know it as?
1999 Ram Air Trans Am. M6

SFC( not sure what kind), drilled/slotted rotors, K&N air filter, all free mods, 3" Borla cat back exaust, electric exaust cut out, NGK spark plugs, royal purple motor oil, and Zaino .Maybe more. I find more stuff done to it everytime I look at it.

Are you looking for the "mount".... a metal frame that holds the "bushing", or just the bushing? Energy Suspension makes a replacement bushing for the 4th Gen torque arm... not sure about the 3rd Gen. If you need the actual metal pieces that bolt to the car, its probably a dealer only part, or a junk yard.

As Fred mentioned, a poly bushing is available via aftermarket. The stock clamshell mount is a dealer only item. There are two different parts, the inner and the outer. Both must be ordered for a complete bolt in unit.

I guess I just need the bushing, the metal piece looks to be just fine. I tried the word torque arm bushing with them as well, but they looked lost after the word "torque arm".

Just make sure you double check your torque arm end and be sure to order the correct bushing. If you get the wrong one, it will not accept the end of the torque arm no matter how much you try to jam it in there.
