Im trying to get the shaft out of the block the turns the water pump. I removed the timing cover and the timing chain. next i removed the two retaining bolts and tried to yank on it but it is stuck. Anybody have a clue as to getting it out.. thanks

It is a press fit and must be tapped out with a mallet or hammer.

Thats what I like about this forum. If you get stuck on the car. Just come in ask a question get an answer within ten minutes go back out to the car and keep going
