  • Steering wheel vibrating

When I go over bumps or hit pot holes, my steering wheel moves excesively. It's not really a vibration, it moves alot. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas of what could be messed up. It doesn't move when the car is parked or riding on a smooth surface, so I don't think the wheel itself is loose, just something in the front end. Thanks fellas

Idler arm, tie rods, or a really, really bad ball joint. But the ball joint would be obvious if you made a sharp turn at full lock as it would feel like the front end "popped" towards that corner.
