  • Oil seems to be coming from filler cap...HELP

It was also noticed in the EGR valve when I went to clean it. What could be wrong and how do I fix it?

    94 formula almost no mods.

Also I am very frustrated today. I just finished installing a new opti, water pump, pluggs, coil, serp. belt, Alt., oil, oil filter, fuel filter, K&N air filter and seafoamed the cr@p out of her.

I have done all I can to try to bleed the air out and after about 30 min. of running it starts to climb to over 220 degrees and this has never happened. (Yes I reinstalled the 160 degree hypertech)

And even though she sounds great I feel a little shake on idle and a vibration on acceleration.

I am the original owner of her and am so pi$$*d I am thinking of selling. Someone please help before I push her off a cliff...

Thanks for listining. I needed that.

welp.....first off.. this is a family friendly forum......has been since 97..so i edited your naughty words for ya....

a 160 stat does no good when you are not moving unless your fans are reprogramed to come on at around 175 or so. 220 and slightly above is normal for a stock cooling system in traffic and standstill on a 94-97.

if you have an airbubble in the system, it usally kicks a cooling system light..... i guess that didnt happen?

check your pcv valve to make sure your ccvs is free flowing ...could be the prob. and also... if the filler cap is not seated corectly..then its gonna leak.... it should be "sealed".

you did a lot of work there, dude..... start going back over your installs in mind and visual and see if something is "arai".,.....

    good luck.
