  • edelbrock tes?

i installed the edelbrock tubular exhaust headers a few months ago, thay seem to be working great, just wanted to know what everyones opinion is on this setup, i went with these cause there 50 state legal and i got to be able to pass smog (calif.) they claim to increase your 0-60 times by 1 second. just wondering if this was true since i havent timed it.

Absolutely impossible to improve your 0-60mph time by a full second with a simple header install. My HP calculator says that would require the addition of 75HP to a relatively stock LT1 in a 3,600# car. You might see 15-20HP, but no way you will pick up 75HP with headers. You would more likely see about a 0.20 to 0.30-second improvement in 0-60mph time, and in the 1/4-mile.

thanx for the input, i guess i didnt think about the hp requirement for a 1 second drop in the 0-60, other than that the tes is runnin strong
