I have a 1999 T/A A/4 that has to be re-built drives fine but when i tromp the gas i no longer have passing gear just shoots right up to rev-limiter. I am leaning towards the yank 3500 or vigilante 3200---my car is bone stock with 3:23's except for hood, rotors, cat-back, eibach springs and wheels and what extra items should i get for my 4l60e to insure maximum life with high performance converter when i get it re-built---thanks in advance

Are Yank and vigilate good convertors? Yes. Are they ridiculously over priced? IMOP, Yes.
I posted this about a hundred times on this board, so many might be tired of my opinion on this. Get a good custom convertor built for the car. TCI or yank, vigilante, etc. are all "off the shelf" convertors. They come close to dialing in the stall, but you will never have an accurate stall speed unless the convertor is built for your car. A good convertor builder takes into account the type of vehicle, engine displacement, weight, cam, gears, etc.. The guys that build the convertors for my father's shop are awesome....never seen one come back defective.....and they are literally 1/3 the price of a vigilante.
Im not trying to sell a convertor or anything....just trying to save you some $$. If you can get one custom built elsewhere, then do it. Just dont go waste 500+ extra dollars to have the name "yank" on it.
