A Chevy smallblock is a Chevy smallblock. All the Gen 1 SBC's are interchangeable, at least as far as engine mounts, tranny bolt-up, etc. Generally a truck engine is set up for low end torque and not top end power, so whether it would make the car "fly" is not certain.... might pull strong off the line and then fall flat over 4,000rpm. I have no idea what the specifics of that truck engine are, just generalizing.Fred
