    Hey guys ...

    How common or likely is it that the splines on the water pump would wear away?
    97 TA, M6, JBA ceramic coated headers, Borla Cat-back exhaust, 1.6 RR, 160 Thermo, LT4 knock sensor, CAI, Bils, Hotchkis all around, GT rotors, B&M shifter, Magnecor wires, Granatelli MAF
    In the shop LT4 Intake and heads.

    a friend of mine put in the LT4 kit and a shift kit at the same time and he was stripping the water pump gear off twice a summer then he smartened up and took some advice and went with the gm perf. parts "Heavy Duity" timeing chain and gears and he hasnt had a problem sence. if you get the hot cam too im pritty sure you have to change the timeing assembly over anyway i know if you have a 94 you have to buy a 95 or up cam or the "Hot Cam" because their is a pin on the frunt that is not the same
