    I don't know what to tell you Steve. Do you know that iridium came to Earth on an asteroid?

    TR55 - standard plug
    TR55GP - single platinum
    TR55IX - single iridium

    The above plugs have a standard ground electrode subject to wear

    PTR4B-15 - double platinum
    ITR4A15 - iridium center electrode & platinum puck ground

    THESE are the 100,000 mile plugs

    The iridium/platinum retails for about $10

      Can't say I knew that lol. Thanks for the help Kev. I guess I'll be checking them at 30k then...once I put them in lol.

        Thnak you Both Kevin and Steve I'm learing alot .I'm definately still going with the NGK Iridium plugs.
        1997 Z-28 70K - 52 mm Edelbrock Throttle Body, Flowmaster series 80, K&N Cold Air intake, NGK Iridium Plugs TB Bypass, B&M Ripper shifter, Kenwood Head Unit, 2 MTX Amps,Clarion DVD Player , 2 10" MTX subs, 2 MTX 6x9's, 4 MTX 6.5's, 4 Kenwood 1" tweeters .
