Yes, he will need the ECM & wiring harness. The harness that is on his car now will not work because his car has a MAF TPI system & the GTA has a MAP TPI system.
    No F-Body right now

It would be easier just to convert the 350 to MAF than to change all of the harness and ECM, all you need it a 350 eprom to put in the PCM and swap the motor and your done. You may want to change out the Plenum from the 305 onto the 350 but it isnt a requirement, you will just have an extra sensor not hooked up (MAP). I'm running a MAP plenum on my 89 MAF car and it has no effect on the performance.

Im glad this topic came up because I have been thinking of a 305TBI/350TPI swap myself. Facts are that as much as my 92 means to me, because of the 126,xxx miles on her and that she is (of course) not all original, she wont be worth alot until years from now. Plus whatever I get for her I'm gonna put towards a 2000+ SS one day. So I dont want to drop an expensive crate in her or a LS1 cuz there no sense in putting that much money into a car I wont get it out of or keep forever. SO.........I want more power and a 350TPI is were I want to get it. And I want some 4.10's so I can really feel it too! Now all I gotta do is find one.......
