Hi all,
Haven't been active on this forum since about 5 years ago when I picked up my '93 Formula.
However recently, I purchased a 2000 Camaro Z28 as a "GM Certified Used" vehicle from a dealership 3 hours away from home. I knew I was asking for some headaches, but the 3/3k warranty seemed like enough time to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed up.
Does anyone have/have access to, the standards used by GM service departments in order to "Certify" a car? I have the checklist but it doesn't specify any guidelines about what is pass and fail, what requires fixing and what doesn't. There are some things on the vehicle that I don't think are up to snuff - and I'm hitting my head against the wall trying to work with local dealerships.
I'm in a real jam here, and I'm just trying to get the General to honor a warranty and certification policy.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
