94 converter question

I had a TCI 3000 stall installed on my 1994 camaro z28 a few weeks back and dont know how high i should be able to bring the revs for a launch. I can bring them up to about 2000-2200 before the tires starts to spin and i had thought i would have been able to bring the revs up higher then this?

With slicks you would likely be able to flash to 3000. If the tires are spinning early, you won't reach max stall speed.
