leaky exhast manifold gasket suggests

I have a buddie with a 96 TA with a exhast manifold gasket leak starting. It's a pain to replace the gasket.

Doe's any have any suggests on what sealer we could try first?

The stock gaskets are stacked steel. Often times the manifold bolts merely loosen over time. He could try to retorque the bolts as the steel shim doesn't burn. Short of replacement, there isn't any sealer that is going to work worth a darn.
