Its a good idea to match the headers to motor work. In stock trim 1 5/8 are fine. I have that size in JBA's. Because I plan on doing motor work (head/cam/intake) I will need to bet larger ones. I say this to give you food for thought.
Things to look for are thick flanges and for sure get them coated. The ones you show look good. Also look at SLP, AS&M, JBA's
97 TA, M6, JBA ceramic coated headers, Borla Cat-back exhaust, 1.6 RR, 160 Thermo, LT4 knock sensor, CAI, Bils, Hotchkis all around, GT rotors, B&M shifter, Magnecor wires, Granatelli MAF
In the shop LT4 Intake and heads.
i like the jet hot longtubes. they are 499 jsut for the headers though. they are the hooker stlye header and for a hooker y-pipe it is like 149 just for that. so that is 625 plus like 50 dollars shiiping to my house, that is too much for me.
who has pacesetter headers here?
what about these rk sport headers? they said they are mids
I've heard a lot about BBK, and I can't remember anything good. I don't know about the quality of the RK sports but if they clone the AS&M's they should flow real well.

94-95 style mac mids. Don't listen to the 1 3/4 argument. The 1 3/4's might be a little better for huge HP applications, but there are a lot of people running 10's with that header. I would go with a midlength header too. LT's will scrape, shorty's suck. I like the design of the MAC's. Easy to install, and easy to change out plugs and wires. The as&m's will make plugs/wires a weekend project.
i called up mac performance today and i really like the idea of this header they ahev now. 589 for mac ceramic mid length and y-pipe. factory direct free shipping. but there is a 2-3 week back order on them so i will have to wait until the 10th when i get paid then i wont have them for like a week or two.
