Steering wheel stereo controls.

When I got my car I noticed that the stereo control lights on the left side of the steering wheel did not light up and now a couple months later the right side no longer lights up, does anyone know if this usually just takes a bulb or will it end up being a major electircal project? thanks for any help.

There are some lights that are soldered to the little circuit board on the button controls. You can either buy new ones or get new bulbs from radio shack and try to solder them in yourself.
I just bought new ones. Its a bit easier. Don't recall the price. Its been quite a while ago.

Any tips on how to get to the circuit boards? Or is it even worth the trouble? What do you think?

You should be able to pop the buttons out by gently prying them off. I posted a message about this a few months ago, but I can't find it now, even searching for it. I'll keep checking, it included a link on how to resolder the lights.

I bought new ones...only reason was the buttons themselves were fading and teh grey was rubbing off...90 bucks
