I doubt he will be able to get that much. I recently got a loan on the equity I had in my car (I know, not the best way to go, but my credit card company screwed me.
) and they told me that the value of my car with ALMOST 40,000 miles is about $8500 retail. So.....with 65,000 more miles on it...and being 2 years older, I don't think his is worth that much.
