what do you mean the exhaust? If you mean that it's a single outlet, 98 TA's, or at least some of them, came with a single outlet exhaust. Some aftermarket exhausts are also single outlet.

Just a factory replacement. As far as I know, airflow is neither restricted nor enhanced.
