We need to protect ourselves if it involves profiling then so be it! There coming over here to our country, our land. I have no problem with them coming over here to have a taste of freedom. but these liberalist are going to be the downfall of the nation and our country and our freedoms. So what if we profile. It seems to me that during times of war, (and this is war) it is a prudent course of action. During WWII, Japanese on US soil were detained until the war was over as a precaution. Many were outraged, some understood why we did it, the result was a safer homeland. As much as I hate prejudice, this is war...not just a police action.

The lady that wrote this letter is Pam Foster of Pamela Foster and Associates here in Atlanta. She's been in business since 1980 doing interior design and home planning. She recently wrote a letter to a family member serving in Iraq. Read it.

WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS?

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

I'll care when Clinton-appointed judges stop ordering my government to release photos of the abuses at Abu Ghraib, which are sure to set off the Islamic extremists just as Newsweek's lies did a few weeks ago.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -- you guessed it -- I don't care!" -

Up until this year, I had never even flew anywhere. My family never had the money to fly us on vacations or anything so until I got out of college and started working I had no idea. My first flight came in January, of course I was selected for random check prolly cuz of my dark complection, dark spikey hair and a few peircings. But when the towelheads behind me were not selected, I was like WTF, this race is passing me thru the line and they are known to be terrorists. I have a problem with that. I have flown prolly 20times since then and every time I have been checked. It just pisses me off because I am a faithful law-abiding american and I know that there are plenty more that could be in the terrorist stereotype that are not checked. I think next time I will comb my hair like Lloyd in dumb and dumber and take out all my peircings and see what happens, I bet they do not select me. If they are gonna search me, they had better search that tower-bombing $#%^ behind me.

You are correct in saying there are plenty of americans out there that are killers but have you seen any that killed 3000 in one day on somebody elses soil just because of there beliefs? I also agree that muslims are not the only ones that should be profiled. But if they want to come to our country and live on our land and become one of us than they should abide by our rules. If there not here to harm our people then they should have nothing to worry about. Im as honky white as you can get but I was searched at BWI internationl this year but I wasnt offened because I didnt have anything to worry about. Like I said before I think there the ones that need to adapt and not us. And I think that goes for any race.

Yes I do believe there are plenty of threatening people of all races, however, just like Thomas said, no other group killed thousands of people so sadistically in a single instance. I had no problem being selected for screening at the airport, however when the Muslim(a member of the group that caused us to have airport security screenings) gets by I am a little upset. If they want a taste of the land of opportunity, they will have to sample our security first, ALL OF THEM!!!!

If they, who ever they are, want to live here then they need to abide by our rules and not theres. Yes we have certain rights to practice our own religion ect. but what gives them the right to go around killing innocent people at will and most of them are of muslim backgrounds maybe not all but most. We need to protect our land , freedom and people and if that means making a few people uncomfertable then so be it. Its not like were stripping them naked and flogging them in the court yard just because there of a certain background. I think Jay said it a few post ago. If I went to japan I would not expect the whole country to speak english because I couldnt speak japanese or something like that. I would have to adapt and not them.
