The OEM valve covers will fit, but you will have to cut out the web that supports the center bolt tubes on one side of the tube only. Do not cut out the tube or the other side of the web, or you will have oil leaks. The baffle for the air supply hose to the passenger side cover may need to be altered as well. Many guys have done that without problems.
There are other valve cover options: The LT4, the composite ones (many brands out there)...
The LT4 valve covers are the best choice but you will need a wider budget:
LT4 VALVE COVER (DRIVER SIDE) 12552321 $63.60
LT4 VALVE COVER (PASSENGER SIDE) 12552322 $68.40
VALVE COVER SCREWS 8 10108675 $0.75/each
VALVE COVER STUDS 8 10108674 $2.57/each
OIL FILLER CAP 1 12555685 $3.79
Current pricing:
12552321 $80.85
12552322 $86.40
10108675 $0.88
10108674 $2.93
12555685 $4.20
The covers use a special gasket that should come installed on the cover, though there have been some people that have gotten covers that had no gaskets.
10108625 gasket $8.54
You may also want to add the Corvette PCV/CCV hose that goes from the throttle body to the passenger vave cover: 12557604 hose $3.39
Add: All the info above is from Rob (Shoebox)
So.....just modify your OEM valve covers and you will save some money..
