airbag light flashing

i was driving on the freeway last night and i hit a bump, my airbag light flashed like 5 times. anyone know what might of happened or if something is wrong? it has never done that before.

Do not know what it is but if were me an that lite came I would be driving from the back seat. That would scare the you know what out of me.Hope you find out what it is.

Mine comes on sporadically, typically after a hard rain. Supposedly it's something with the dialectric grease used on the connectors under the hood. I've never taken the time to disconnect mine and reapply the grease, just to make sure the robots in Canada didn't miss a spot

BTW, the airbags cannot faultily deploy like that. The light is telling you that something is wrong, it's either lost a signal, or a sensor is sending back information out of the range of correct operation (resistance isn't correct, sensor failure, etc.)

Airbags are weird...Keep an eye on it...If it does it again I would bring it in to have that code checked.
