  • Need some "LUBE" help

    Hey guys,

I need to lube my g/f's Eclipse sunroof tracks. I have some white lithium grease on hand, would that work? What do you all think? Please help!

I'd call your local Mitsubishi dealer and ask what they recommend. Use the wrong stuff, could get messy!

Lithium grease tends to attract dirt and such. I'd have to agree with the post above though. Ask the dealer.

Other options are silicone spray and graphite lubricant.

Really? Ok, I'll do that.... My question though, does White Lithium grease freeze in the winter? Also, i applied some for the time being because it was making a grinding sound when opening and closing. If I need to apply a different kind of lubricant, can I just wipe off the white lithium and put something else down?

I would use silicone spray and wipe up the excess with a cloth.
