  • 1/8 times?

I'm thinking about going to Farmington dragway soon and i was wondering about what I should expect. I have bought plenty of goodies but I have not installed any of them but the slp cai and it came with a "blow master" and a shift kit. I'm not sure of what the elevation is there or anything, just try to give me a rough guess of my times.

Is that the IHRA track in Farmington NC? Do you know the elevation? That will affect your times.

If its near sea level, you can expect the typical "stockish" 1/4-mile times of 14.0 @ 98mph to show up as about 9.0@79MPH

And of course "r/t" (reaction time) will not affect your ET or MPH.

There is a private airport near there (about 5 miles I think) that is at 780 feet asl, the track elevation sholud be fairly close to that, there are a lot of hills in the area though.

Isn't it near Winston-Salem? There are some "hills" in western NC, and that might mean its a bit above sea level. You need to find out the elevation, because if its at 1,000-ft or above, its going to reduce your MPH and increase your ET, to the extent that you can't compare it to what others are doing at sea level. I looked at the track's website, but they don't show the track elevation. Maybe the IHRA website would have it????
