Feasibility of Corvette Climate Controls in Trans Am?

Just as the title states I am wondering if anyone has ever attempted this mod on their F-Bod? Not sure if there is alot more involved or just obtaining the control unit. I am asking because I am trying to install a custom stereo and need another half inch heigh of clearance in the radio opening. And thought if I am this far, maybe this would be cool too. Thanks All.

I would not recommend it.....the Vette climate control is a nuisance for a lot of owners.....I thought it was just me, but many would prefer the good 'ol manual a/c
