Really? All you've done is ask for help and got it........without anyone asking for anything in return.

OK..... Strike three. Have it your way. Since you aren't contributing and you continue the whizzing match, if you want to be outa here that's fine.

injuneer i wasnt referring to you. i just didnt want to directly point out who my feelings were going towards. i just got off the phone with your dad. i might have him build me a convertor or even a transmission. i did not intend on you taking any of the wrath from my comment. they werent geared towards you. but in all honestly i feel as if this is becoming a war and no one has my side. this isnt weighted farely and i am feeling as if i am not welcomed on this board. first off no one really comments on my posts, and i dont feel like i really get any respect around here. i am offended by the way people chime in and degrade and i cant have any respect for that. im done with this.
      LOL, I love the wolfman

redbird, you come off as a very sensitive guy. I won't comment on this thread anymore, but I want to say something. You have gotten nothing but help on this board. You had questions about headers, and I tried to help you, I even sent you a PM about a nice set I found on cz28 for a good deal.

Like Todd said, you made a comment that is very hard to believe, and you are expecting everyone to agree because you are a man to be respected, and anyone that questions you is wrong. When I first came here, I posted about beating an LS1 camaro. Nobody believed me, did I care? No. Had we raced past 60 MPH, he woulda ate me, I'm sure, and we all agreed on that and moved on. Nobody was taunting you. I still think what you said was BS, and I will never think otherwise. Like I said, maybe the other guy didn't know you were racing. A mustang with those mods is running 12's, easily, maybe faster. Not to mention they have superior rears and will grip up better (I think).

The comments you made above, saying how no one comments on your posts makes you sound like a baby, who needs a lot of special attention, and you are very high maintnence, and you are not appreciative. Not saying that's what you are, it's what you are making yourself SOUND LIKE. Take the help you get and appreciate it. Making posts like the one you're posting above is not going to make you friends here man. Just let it go, it isn't that big of a deal.

People will tend to offer a little more respect when you put time and effort into your posts. I don't want to be a spelling and grammar nazi, but your posts come off sounding like a spoiled 18 year old because nothing is capitalized or spelled correctly. I guess we're lucky there's any punctuation. Obviously I'm not a perfect speller either, and poor grammar won't stop anyone on this board from trying to help you, but there may be reasons you're not willing to see for why people react to your posts the way they do.

I saw a Miata several years ago, just after they came out, that had a built Ford 5.0 in it. Don't remember much more than that though.

There's a guy on CZ28.com ("jimlab") who's putting together an LT1-powered Mazda RX-7. The engine is an absolute work of art, with an exotic Hogans aluminum intake, and the best of everything. Dyno tests so far show over 650HP on motor. Should make the little RX-7 fly.......

That's awesome. I saw a Gremlin at a car show a few years back with a built 340 stuffed in it. Never got to see it run unfortunately.

I think there is one universal rule: "There is always somebody who is faster then you!" This is probably the one reason why I am never compelled to street race. I know what my car can do, and I am happy with that. Is the f-body the fastest car on the road? No, but it has great power from the factory and a lot of potential. Is the f-body the best handling car on the road? No, but is does pretty well from the factory and can be made better. Does the f-body look and feel like an American Muscle car? Yes, and that is the big selling point for me. I don't really care about the comparative speed or performance of an import...I want an American Muscle car...period! I think we see a lot of quality and fast imports...the turbo cars for sure. It all boils down to preference. Buy or Build the car you want and the way you want it, and be happy with it. I know that there are imports out there that can blow my doors off, but that is OK. Until I can spend the time and $$$Money$$$ that is the way it will be. I guess if somebody claims that their stock Honda S2000 can run with a Viper, let them talk...obviously it is not a conversation worth having. Additionally, if someone claims that their f-body is invincible, let them talk...obviously it is not a conversation worth having. Anyhow, it seems kinda silly to get heated over this topic...remember the rule: "There is always somebody faster then you!"

Well written. Agree completely. The thing with street racing is it proves nothing. Zero. There are far too many variables that come into play. Did the driver next to me realize we were racing? Did he get a good jump, even from a roll? Is he a good enough driver to determine who's got the faster car? Way too many things factor into how street races end up.
