As some of you might remember, I had some sputtering at higher RPM's the other day, and decided it's time to get a new opti and do a 'lil tune up while I'm at it. Well, after looking at different places to compare prices, I finally ordered everything today.
I'll just give a couple prices for the opti I came across....
GM Parts Direct wanted $301 after shipping
2 dealers around my area wanted about $310
I believe summit had it for $280
On Joe's tip, and I know Injuneer and possibly a couple others have mentioned as well, I decided to give Jason Cromer a call.
All genuine GM parts from a dealership these are...
Opti spark
Water pump drive seal
Opti drive seal
Front crank seal
2 o-rings for water pump shaft
Total cost including shipping....$295
Because of a tip I received from these boards, I saved at least a good $60 bucks from what I could have spent.
