    well i am finally starting a total rebuild on my 84 t/a and got a q. will a 350 ho engine fit into the engine bay with stock engine mounts?

      Absolutely! Everything will bolt up, even the accessories. If you are going carbed with a standard HEI distributor the only wires you will need are:

      distributor : tach lead and + ignition
      Alternator: charge wire and + ignition
      engine: oil pressure and temp sender leads
      A/C : compressor clutch trigger wires
      carb: + ignition wire for electric choke

      If you have a TH700r4 trans you will need to have a shop set up the lockup torque converter to work without the computer, or you can just rig a swith for it and control in manualy. You will alos need to set up the Throttle Valve (TV) cable linkage to the carb to control the shifts.
