Light Black Outs

I just bought a 92' rs for 500$ bucks, it came with tail lights black outs or whatever there called.
Deos anyone know if there illegal in florida?

Tail light blackouts are for "off road use only" in most states. Most guys don't have any problems with the cops when it comes to tickets and such. Just remember, most brands cut the amount of light going through, and it could be a liability in the event you're rear ended in an accident. Even if the covers didn't play a part in the accident, the person who hit you could claim they didn't see your lights, etc.... I'll admit they do look good, especially on black cars, but whether it's worth the possible legal and safety problems is up to you.

It depends... it's up to the local officer to decide whether it obscures the light transmission or not.
