Why can't people get along? I had to fire 3 people today. One for being an idiot, two for violation of company policy. The idiot is the one who turned in the other two for the violations, then proceeded to tell them that he was the one that had turned them in. An altercation ensued and the idiot gets a one way ticket to the hospital, courtesy of one of the fired employees. The idiot was walking on thin ice to begin with having had numerous warnings about attitude and trainability, the other two were victims of their own stupidity.

The moral of the story? If you are going to be an anonymous tipster, don't brag to the perpitrator that you are the one that turned him in. That's gotta be the winner of this year's Darwin Award.

Some people are just oblivious to what they do or say. I was interviewing someone for a position which would report directly to me. I had to ask a list of "Company Standard" questions, along with any others I wanted to add. She was doing great right up until the final question... The final question on the list was "Tell me something your friends would say about your personality". She said "Whatever you do, don't ever piss me off". Really..... NEXT.

That is like the stupid *&$^% on cops that called the cops cuz she gave her neighbor money for crack and the neighbor never delivered it. I laugh everytime I see that, some people are just clueless!!!!!!!!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up and totally worn out, loudly proclaiming......WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!

Reminds me of an applicant for the position of my assistant recently, at the hardware store I work for. I wasn't very impressed with the application to begin with, as I could hardly read his handwriting, and he answered every question with very short answers. Anyway, the last question on the application is something to the effect of: "Is there any orther information you wish to tell us about yourself in consideration for this position?" His answer was, and I quote.... "I am a hard worker, I am smart I now alot about tooles." That one got "filed" pretty quick.

At my factory we just had a now former employee making bomb threats, cause he was told to go to first shift or walk out the door (long story). He ended up getting a police escort from the building for some crazy reason he showed up to work the following monday, and got another escort from the building

hearing all these stories makes me feel kinda good about my work. All the pre-employment testing you have to go through, and then continue to go through, tends to weed out the crazies. They've been known to let a few through though!

Thankfully I now work in a satellite office. There are only four of us, and there is absolutely no drama whatsoever. I have my own office. It's quiet. We have a great time. It's really the first job that I can honestly look forward to when I wake up. It's not that I just don't mind it... I actually enjoy it. It's a great feeling.

Of course, the perks are pretty good. I work for a company who services the alcohol industry. Some of our clients include Hieneken, Gallo Wines, Coors/Molson, Gambrinus (distributor of Corona and others)... Plus I can jump on here pretty much anytime during the day. They'll have to physically remove me from this job.

Yea, I landed in a pretty nice job right now, too. Working for Enbridge Gas (I think my reputation level may drop after that, lol), I'm basicaly in the dispatch unit right now, but I'm working towards other fields within the company. Enbridge is a great company for promotions, and employee development.

I've never really liked working, but I do enjoy the job, and all of the benefits. Work with a bunch of good people, and not too mention the # of ladie's in the office... It's like a work office for models, I have a hard time keeping composure
