    Pretty Interesting - http://www.axialvectorengine.com/

No Radiator, no transmission, operate at any angle, 200 HP with 650 ft-lb torque while weighing less than 100 lbs

With its six double-ended pistons, twelve-cylinder configuration, the Axial Vector Engine is amazingly efficient and powerful. The opposed cylinders are parallel to the output drive shaft. Mechanical power is transmitted from the piston and rod assembly to the cam roller and from there to the sinusoidal main cam, mounted on the output drive shaft. The main drive shaft lies in parallel orientation to the piston movement, thus eliminating the need for a crankshaft. This allows the pistons to travel in true linear motion with no side-loading, thereby eliminating the need for piston rings. This gets rid of considerable amounts of friction that reduces engine efficiency and causes premature wear-out and component failure.

The engine can also be operated with only one of its ends firing and producing power. This allows the pistons at the other end of the cylinder to be used to carry out other tasks such as compressing (single or multiple stage) hydraulic fluids, pneumatics or electrical power generation for various applications; such as propulsion of the vehicle, pumping irrigation water, or acting as a dedicated power generator for home and industrial applications

Very cool. Imagine the torque at launch.
