Hardtops are around... not nearly as prevalent in an SS, but they are around. As far as the gold is concerned, I'm not sure. I know the late 4th gens had a pewter color, but I'm not entirely sure on what year that color was introduced.

I know the gold color you are talking about. I've seen a few but all v6's. I believe it was only on the ls1 style cars and probably not all years. Im a Ford guy, but i love those LS1 SS camaro's. Im looking into getting one, i know my Ford brothers will have a fit, but who cares, im a car lover.
