  • I have no idea what is wrong with my Z

It "sputters" while cruising.... 2000 or so RPM's. I replaced the opti-spark, its getting 35 psi fuel pressure, new wires and plugs... this is a 93 lt1 with a few bolt ons. the chevy dealer doesn't want to mess with it because of that. It has been at a local shop for 2 weeks and no luck. Help. Thanks RAY

They tested the coil, and there isn't any vac. leaks anywhere. The manifold is sealed tight. Thanks for the ideas though RAY

Did you replace the coil wire? If not, please do so.

i also have a 93 z that does this. remember though that it is speed density. i would think driveabilty is not as good as a mass air car. test the map sensor?? also check tps to make sure it goes through its voltage range freely as you depress the throttle.
