Some thinks to make sure they do when repainting the car.
1) Remove door handles and lock cyl.
2) remove front and rear bumper covers.
3) Remove window trim on windsheild and weather stripping on driver/passenger windows. (the stuff that runs along where the window and glass meet)
4) Make darn sure they paint the entire rocker panel and under the edge of the car, not just to where you can see.
5) try to get them to use some kind of metal treatment on the lower 8-12 inshed of the car as to prevent any future rust from rock chips and the sort.
6) Remove headlights and tail lights.
7) remove mirors and have them painted seperatly (not sure if this is possible on a 4th gen or if they are intigrated into the door.)
8) have them remove fog lights, not just mask them off.
9) Make sure they paint the inside edge of the fender and hood as it is very noticable if they dont.
10) Ask if they will also paint the inside of the hood, for good measure.
Also dealing with the bumpers make sure they use the additive chemical to the paint to make it flexable, or they will crack the first time you bump them even slightly.
Many body shops will try to cut corners as it is a very tight margin. ANd insurance companise usually pay lower rates but government regulation so body shops will try even harder to make a buck.
