What parts would be cover under a powertrain warranty?

Is the a list that shows what parts would that would be cover under a powertrain warranty (water pump, starter,alt)?

I would guess that this can vary by manufacturer and by whether the warranty is the manufacturer's new car warranty or a 3rd party extended warranty. For a new car warranty, it should be covered in the owner's manual.
