  • Air vs Gas Shocks rear???

What do you guys reccomend? I don't know anything about shocks, plan on replacing my rear shocks I want a smooth ride but don't want to put alot into it. When someone rides in the back seat on the passanger side and we hit a bump I hear a noise from the rear, most people have told me its the shocks. Let me know what you guys think.

Air shocks are crap for our cars. they are best relegated to pickups and the like. If you are concerned about bottoming out when carrying passengers, use airlift bags. They are polyurethane air bags that are inserted into the rear coil springs and inflated with an air source. I run them in a few of my cars, they are really useful for preloading the rear suspension in a drag race application.
