  • BBK Pulley & Serpentine Belt Question

    Hey all,

I recently purchased a BBK crankshaft pulley, and I have some questions.

Do I need a new length serpentine belt? If so.... I have a few more q's

    1) How long is the stock serpentine belt for a LT1?
    2) What should the new length be with the pulley installed?

    Thanks!

You might be able to still use it depending on how much smaller the pulley is. The pulley tensioner might be able to take up the slack. When I installed my March pulley they provided the part number for what the new belt needed to be.
