additives anyone???

Hey Guys, I know most if not all of us use Mobil1. Question is, any of y'all put additives; like Lucas Oil Stabilizer? What are your thoughts on items like Engine Restore or Zmax...I don't use em because I live by the motto "if its easy, then it don't work". Input would be great...

As for Lucas additives, I tried a few, didn't notice any improvement. The only noticable difference I have actually felt with an additive was Techron Fuel Injector cleaner (good stuff)

Thats interesting.

The only additive I use is in my auto transmissions - its called Lubeguard. Its not a mechanic in a bottle, so it wont fix your worn clutches or reseal your pan gasket or anything, but its good preventative maintenence with your fluid change.

They used to use oils from sperm whales back in the day for additives in tranny fluid. Lubeguard has done a nice job of replicating these additives. Its good stuff. I think you can get it at Napa.
